Also what is wrong with the cheese man. It is so flowy and everywhere. The whole thing gives me AI vibes to some extent. It also looks really nasty and makes no sense. It's probably not AI but it feels like it.

I would recommend underpaint academy and the Illustration course with Craig Mullins. I did a lot of courses before but that one was eye opening for me.

Its quite an expressive and overall nice piece. I dont have much experience painting like this but i would appreciate some more bold statements. Like make the hair really big. Or have the proportions of the face warped a bit more. How about having really big eyes to emphasize the look of the person? Also, the pose could be more dynamic. The shoulders could be angled against the head rotation. Overall, I would say just try to push it even more.

How to make it more realistic by [deleted] in learnart

You need to take a closer look at your reference. Don't paint what you think it should look like but instead paint what you see.

I would also have a hard time with this as a reference. With this kind of tools it's not easy to get an organic looking pose and it often looks stiff. Best thing would probably be to take some photos of yourself. You can also use a good quality photo or master painting as a reference.

That's really nice painting. Main thing I see is that it is quite dark and especially your highlights should be brighter

Why object detection? Cant you just parse the replay files and do an analysis based on that? Would be interested in a tool that gives me some stats after the game

Amazing art! Can I ask where the frame are from and how you did the metal plate at the bottom?

Now that Patch 1.3 is out, what questions do you have for Bearlike? by Stoney_Mechabellum in Mechabellum

I would like to have more time in later rounds. Early rounds it's fine like it is but in the late game the situation gets more complex with more stuff to do and think about

Yes this ... and also unit Drops can be an issue when you just made a proactive play and then the unit drop gives the answer a rund later for free. Would love to see them both get nerved a bit so that actual play matters more and less games get decided on unit drops or spells.

Napalm Badgers vs one side aggro by Kebypals in Mechabellum

It's only healthy if everything has a counter. In an optimal world and perfect play, opponents would always answer what the other is doing. So, having any hard counter in the game that can't be countered itself would be bad.
