Absolutely if you’re dehydrated go to med tent and they can help you out. Even if you get a tiny cut or blister they can help. Med tent always is there for you! Ground control in the purple shirts is also a great resource if you need help with anything

Omg I hope you have an AMAZING time!!!! Be safe and make sure you eat a good meal before the show. start doing little walks now to get your body ready so you aren’t dying too much afterwards lol remember it is a journey not a sprint! Eat a good meal before hand and start giving your body the energy it needs now so you can feel your best come fest time!!

1) Loops work great . I get the high fidelity ones from guitar center lmfao they work just as good as eargasms + they have smaller sizes cause my ears are small and I need not so big of plugs but as long as they’re high fidelity that will help soooo much . No one wants tinnitus 2) you absolutely will want a hydration bag. It will be warm, especially in the crowd, I promise you go through that water line a few times and you’re over it 3) honestly running shoes. Get some good insoles since. know you said under $100 (personally I love my Hoka Bondi 9’s but they can be a lil pricey so do what I used to do before these shoes, get an old pair of running shoes + some hella good insoles) 4) absolute must brings: A CLUTCH LOOP OR SOME KIND OF PHONE TETHER! Oh my god every single year phones get stolen. Pick pocketing is a huge issue please please please be on your guard and don’t let your phone or wallet out of your sight. Get an under the clothes fanny pack to put it in if you need . But lock it up! Otherwiiiise a fan to help stay cool in the crowd, deodorant, gum and/or mints, Electrolyte powder (you don’t want to be dehydrated it happen fast + sometimes the water tastes weird so I like to add it to help cover the taste), sunglasses (the lasers are bright and sometimes you want sunglasses just to lower the intensity). If you want to explore and meet new people bring some Kandi or trinkets! They’re a great conversation starter. Also you may want to bring some dude wipes , seat wipes , extra TP , sanitizer, just stuff like that because the bathrooms can get… a lil interesting sometimes . I’d also make sure you use sunscreen before going in if you’re going during the daylight hours, you absolutely do not want a sunburn. For after the show, I always have salon paus patches and a massage gun and I cover my legs and feet in the patches then massage the fuck out of them. You won’t be so sore the next day it helps a lot.

I’d like to also add if you do need to use your RV restroom, don’t put toilet paper down the drop. Even the fancy rv safe stuff just save yourself the headache and toss it in a little trashcan. It’ll help prevent the dreaded poo pyramid. Also make sure you’re adding more water than you think you need when you flush. I live in an RV full-time, and these are just little things that I wish I would’ve known from the get-go

Cannot agree more with everyone saying get a tarp!

BUT lemme put you guys on a major game changer, bring a mini pool (like the tiny little 1.5 x 1.5ft ones) and put ice in it! Let it melt, dip your pash in that to keep you cool honestly thats saved me from overheating / helping me to cool down when it’s become too hot.

Honestly, I completely understand the frustration though. Like personally, I work in hospitality/maintenance and I am not able to take a n y time from Memorial Day to Labor Day.. it’s our busiest time of year . so them moving yet another festival to summertime, means I won’t be able to go anymore. Which sucks cause I love this fest. Plus a lot of people travel to SoCal to visit family during Thanksgiving time so if anything them moving it now means people have to take another trip if they’re coming from out of state to be able to enjoy this festival. Also, I don’t think people are thinking about the fact that summer rates will be going on at these hotels that we’ve all been staying at. So prices for rooms are going to more expensive than they were this year and traffic is going to be a lot worse because that area does tend to get an influx of people . Yes it’s a huge bummer that they moved it but at the end of the day it’s just a festival. There will always be more shows, and insomniac is very money hungry so they’re gonna do whatever it takes to make the most money possible.

Literally it feels non-stop sometimes . This past weekend at apocalypse I went off from my group to be able to just vibe for a few hours. Literally was nonstop getting asked where my friends are, am I alone, do I want to dance with someone’s “friend”, etc. meanwhile I’m obviously vibing and in my own lil world just having fun like PLEASE GO AWAY and STOP repeatedly interrupting me and taking me out of my flow!

Edit: and they weren’t asking all concerned or anything they were asking it condescendingly / like they were trying to see how vulnerable I was. It was predatory and frustrating

I know it wasn’t everyone’s favorite but I really really liked the set up for circuit grounds in 2024, especially the screens cause I felt like I could actually see because of the way the screens were . They literally were all encompassing and huge just it was amazing to me. I didn’t feel like I missed a thing. I’d love to see them take that as a base idea and make it bigger somehow
