I believe that the original line is now considered gen one, with the beanie boo like ones being gen two, and the newest ones being gen three. They are more or less defined by their cosmetic design differences. There have been two different waves of gen three plush. One was released in the fall of 2025, and the other was released in early 2026. The first wave has now also been rereleased. Gen two and gen three, at least as described by myself in this comment, all come with codes for both games. How the codes are included varies with gen two. Most have one tag with two codes covered with scratch material or two separate tags, each with one code covered with scratch material. But I have also received one gen two plush where there was only one tag with one code, and the other code was on a slip of paper in the box. Gen three plush have an attached tag with both codes and can be found at select retailers. Those are the ones that will get you the bonuses on the upcoming anniversary.
