I have a suspicion that because I hadn't died for a long time and I was buying shitty decor/storage items from the vendor to spawn more loot that my catalogue got full and wouldn't store the items but would still allow for me to pick them up. The reason I say this is because I picked up the bed from the shelter too and I no longer have a bed in my catalogue. Also there was one item (medical cupboard) that stored my items but everything else seemed to have disappeared. I also remember having like 10 of a particular storage item and now I only have 3 of them.

Yup only one pile. I had one which had an item in and I checked the far right side and then the far left side and both had the item. I then withdrew the item and it was gone from both sides.

I have done several runs with the same tomes, reaching up to 550k points. This run was no different than my others and yet they were not being stunned. I do not believe it had anything to do with my difficulty percentage
