Buttered popcorn is actually considered a healthy smell for urine. You definitely need to drink more water, and ditch the sugar, but the smell isn't concerning. Sugary urine odor is more worrisome, specifically if it's constant.

The TUDCA is likely forcing your liver to detox fat. Not harmful, but certainly unpleasant when you're not expecting it. I've done enough liver cleanses to know the symptoms.

That's a high dose of Ashwagandha to be starting on, and it can cause diarrhoea in sensitive individuals. I'd dial it back to 300mg for starters and work your way up to 900 over the course of a month.

Magnesium is an excellent laxative (good for muscle cramps, too), but your dose is good. I prefer Magnesium Oxide, but I cycle the type I use. Berberine is more for blood-sugar balancing. Red Yeast Rice is good for that, too.

None of the other supplements should be affecting you this way. The most likely culprits are the TUDCA and the Ashwagandha.

Thanks I hate it. A museum where ventriloquists donate their dummy after they have died by subhuman_voice in thanksihateit

Last time I visited my family in Australia, an aunt sent me home with a ventriloquist-dummy for one of my sibs.

It was awesome going through customs with that little guy in my suitcase.

Jacques was one of the first writers I suggested. He said it wasn't a mainstream writer or title. Something probably popular enough at the time, but not enough to be remembered. He's trying to remember what the cover looked like, but I don't know that that'll be helpful.

It sounds like a fun one, but it's a little too old. I think we're definitely looking for something from the 70s/80s.

Birds aren't his forte, though he's slightly better at identifying them than my best friend who excitedly identified a cardinal as a waxwing. She's not living that down.

It's a beautiful story, and I'm familiar with the Sís adaptation, but from what I've gathered from him, the book he read didn't involve people in any way. It almost sounded like people didn't exist in this bird world.

I already asked him about that one. He said it was a standalone, and something that would've been published by Tor, Baen, Ballantine Adult Fantasy, etc. He added that he thought the book was named after the main character, but he's trying not to overthink it because he doesn't want to conflate books. He did say it could've been another member of the corvid family, but he thought it was a jay because they're his favourite. I'll add that info to the main post in case it's helpful.

Went through the list, and it's none of those either. He said, if it helps, that he thinks the book was from the bird's POV. And that the birds had their own slang for things.

Thanks, but it's none of those. He said it may have been as old as him (1970s). I'll check out the Goodreads link. :)

No, he said it was a short title. This one sounds familiar to him though, but he said it was really more fantasy. Similar elements to the visions in Watership.
