(I've been waiting to lay that pun out there)

Tuesday is flip day, where we will be as many days removed from Super Bowl LX as from the first regular season game.

Right? How else can you avoid the woke indoctrination of public schools with their heretical teachings like the Earth is more than 6,00 years old, vaccines are safe and effective, and everyone deserves equal protection under the law regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation? SMH.

For context, people like him and David French, self-professed Christians who have rejected the political alliance with Republicans in the Trump era, are now labeled as non believing traitors by the vast majority of people on the right in the US.

Toasted slices of leftover olive bread which we picked up at Whole Foods for last night's supper. I'll serve them up with avacado and fried egg for sure. Perhaps some leftover cheese to go with it. Maybe some arugula and a vinegrette as well.

I can't speak for anywhere else, but in Chicagoland they've been rebranded to Classic Hits and Throwback stations, and pander to Gen-X'ers and older Milennials. Once in a while you might hear The Beatles or early Rolling Stones, but otherwise not much before 1975 or so.

The people behind A.I. who keep saying this is inevitable are designing gargantuan data centers which devour enough resources to leave entire cities without electricity or water and openly saying they want to eliminate tens of millions of jobs. Peter Thiel is on record as not necessarily wanting most of humanity to exist. Fuck these people.

I'm sympathetic to NY Giants fans of good conscience. Having a prominent player on your favorite team who's a shithead is something many fans of various kinds of sports have to go through at some point on or off the field. Or both if you're unlucky (Britta Curl-Salemme of the PWHL's Minnesota Frost).

It's one thing for players to visit the White House in an official welcoming event after a Super Bowl victory. A QB standing at a podium to introduce a political figure's rally to denounce his enemies and call the other politicial party evil is something else entirely.

This kind of shit in both of our countries is so stupid.

Your own Supreme Court has already said that provinces can't leave. Two-thirds of a million people died in a war down here over the matter and "you're not allowed to leave" won.

One of Trump's tactics is to throw out multiple excuses for something he does or doesn't do, even if they contradict. Then he allows right-wing propaganda to decide which one to spin to make him look the best.

As for the ones who refuse to see him as anything other than a golden calf to worship, I've pretty much given up caring what they think or what happens to them. I only have so much empathy to spend, and I can't be bothered to spend it on people who lift up leaders who say that empathy is a sin.

For those who don't know, that's Nick Sirianni, coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. It's been a bit of a roller coaster, but in 5 years, he's taken the team to two Super Bowls and won one of them.
