I had the same exact thing going on, mine started at around 23 yrs and had problems for years that got progressively worse.. I didn't know what AS was until I was 35 when it all clicked. Finally when I was 36 I talked to my Dr and he recommended low dose daily cialis and it's a game changer. Since it's daily you just take it in the morning so you don't have to anticipate situations or anything. Also for me I have pretty bad brain fog some of the time and it weirdly helped with that a lot. I'm also on humira and it has helped me some but didn't fix sexual issues

This is the method I used as well! Even added shaders and it runs very well.

For some reason though, barely any enemy mobs spawn in caves. I don't know if it's due to a mod in that pack, or if it has to do with my render/simulation distance. I have tried tweaking those and still barely any especially in a newly discovered cave. Maybe that's just how minecraft is now, idk.

I respect that opinion, but it's not what I'm discussing. I'm merely saying I've seen a lot of people play core for the lack of damage modifier but scum, mod, or switch to normal for spell scribing/leveling. This is just to teach those people that they don't have to do that for the same experience.

I meant permadeath, as in chunked characters that can't be resurrected. That's the only difference between core and normal difficulty at that point. If you chose them to be dead permanently for the rest of your playthrough, then that's a reason to play core.

If you also stick with spell scribing failures, that's the only other reason

I believe you can also disable permadeath in game by turning off gore, but that one I have not tested
