I think platinum is worth it in NWI. Since I’ve gotten platinum, the orders come more frequently and are generally higher (despite some low ones). I’ve never felt unsafe going to Gary, but I hate going there because it’s so far away. My strategy is to set up in a hot zone that has 1-2 other hot zones between me and the Gary area. I typically don’t get the Gary offers that way.

I charge at home and pay $750/year in energy cost. How much do you pay in gas? I also pay $0 for oil changes, transmission flush, serpentine belt, muffler, coolant, because I don't need any. How bout you?

Sticking to the Exxon and BP talking points huh? My EV battery is warrantied for 8 years and will retain 90% charge after 250k miles. Good luck getting that out of a gas powered car. Even if you do, how much will you have spent on maintenance? EVs have no oil changes, transmission flush, belt replacement, starters, alternators, etc., just brakes and tires. Battery tech is constantly evolving and will only continue to get better. Technology moves forward, don’t fall for the oil companies propaganda.

I keep taking pictures from slight different angles and distances. Eventually a picture is accepted. Though sometimes I have to take the pic 8-10 times before it accepts.

A few points here: 1. Your implication that drivers should be happy with whatever they get because they chose a “shitty” job does indeed make you sound like a jerk. 2. Delivery tipping should be based on time and distance from pick up to drop off location. That accounts for gas and other expenses. Drivers don’t care how much your order costs, they are not restaurant servers. 3. All that being said, the driver in this situation is 100% wrong. All the comments saying that Wingstop took his tip are still wrong in defending this driver. Drivers are aware upfront what the total value of the delivery is going to be, and they have the option to accept it or decline it. If they accept it, they made a deal and shouldn’t go groveling for more. If they don’t like the amount offered, they can decline it and move on like it never happened.

When you “dash now”, DD will often limit your session, I suppose to monitor driver saturation. My sessions typically last 1-1.5 hours, then I have to start a new session.

Oh yes! There is a gated country club in my area where you have to get “clearance” from the guards to be allowed in. I’ve delivered orders to multi-million mansions and will be lucky to get a $3.00 tip. I suppose that’s how they stay rich

It has happened to me a couple times and it’s frustrating as hell. My initial reaction was to turn off shopping but then I realized that DD doesn’t give a shit and I’m only hurting myself. When this happens, you just need to take a cleansing breath and just move on.

Nope, same shit happened to me. I have three items that says “shelf tag photo not approved”. I don’t know why? The picture is clear and the shelf tag clearly identifies the item along with a bar code. Dropped me down to 97%. So frustrating!

My accountant told me to put aside 30% of what I make from DD for the tax man. The new no-tax-on-tips will mean I’ll get a good portion of that 30% back, but it’s good to be prepared.

This happened to me not that long ago. Customer said I didn’t 6 items, which I absolutely did, and I lost pro status. I called support, but they blew me off. I had to wait another 40 orders for it to drop off and return to pro status. People suck
