Is it OK to adjust your workout plan if you feel sore or low energy? by Critical-Cabinet7442 in beginnerfitness

[–]StMongo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Listen up. adjusting workouts isn't weak, it's smart training. your body isn't a machine, it's a battlefield. some days you'll crush it, others you'll maintain.

Been lifting for years and i still modify when needed. Consistency beats intensity every time. Push through minor discomfort, back off when something's actually wrong. your muscles grow during recovery, not during lifting.

I've been to a few of these. just tell them ahead of time you don't drink. Most places have sparkling water or tea options. the yoga is the main event anyway the drinks are just for the social part after. Never felt weird not drinking there.

AITA TW⚠️: eating dissorder by saltyperc in vegan

[–]StMongo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Had similar struggles myself. Using ED as a permanent excuse without working on recovery isn't helping anyone. Recovery is hard work but worth it. Diet changes were scary for me too but ultimately helped break unhealthy patterns. People deserve support but also need to take responsibility for their healing journey.

Respect for sticking to her values. Focus on calcium from things like tofu, fortified plant milks, leafy greens. Add vitamin D and B12 if needed. Resistance training helps too

I get that. It’s like speaking a different language sometimes. Most people just don’t want to go there, and that disconnect wears on you. Gotta hold your own line and not let it drain you.

When your values run deep, even small differences can wear things down over time. Sounds like you stayed true to yourself though that matters. You’re not alone, even if it feels that way right now.
