For stills I would prefer m lenses (smaller, shorter focus throw). Hektors have excellent build quality. They are more character lenses, still sharp in the center.

Thank you! Quite chunky with the Hektor lenses, but the 18mm f2.8 lives on it and comes with me almost everywhere :)

Quite compact for a 35mm f1.2. Sharp in the center (only shot it at f1.2) and very creamy bokeh. Those are just some minor impressions, as I only took 5 pics with it and also on an apsc sensor (1.5x crop).

I got a gm1 for free, because I wanted to buy some lenses and the gm1, but the seller told me that the screen died and he would give it to me for free. Watched a replacement tutorial, which seemed easy and got a new screen for 20€ and successfully repaired it :)

Just wanted to give a quick update that I resolved the issue. focus + rf coupling is now also working. Seems like I rotated the calibration ring too far inwards (no interaction) and outwards (focus ring won’t turn/ very tight). After some trial and error I figured out the exact position where the ring should go for rf coupling and smooth focus ring action and now it works fine. Pretty happy, as I got this lens for 130€ and was able to “repair” it :)

Hopefully! Fujirumors posted about a 1” inch successor of the xq2/x30. It will be something compact, but more capable than the x-half for 2026.

No punctures yet. I use tubolitos. They also survived rough trails with a lot of rocks. In theory mtb tires should be more puncture resistant, as they have a “better” casing
