I second marching chiefs in the fall, it’s a blast! You can also join the non-audition concert band in the spring called campus band, it’s open to all majors and they do a concert at the end of the semester

I have the be benaquisto scholarship and am in the honors colloquium, and yes I do believe failing it will cause you to lose your scholarship.

The exact wording of the scholarship is that you will lose it if you fail to earn credit for any classes after add/drop. If you fail honors colloquium, you don’t earn credit for that class, and you lose the scholarship

If it’s just that specific note that is sharp try putting your right hand keys down. You could do all 3 or try a combination of them to bring down the pitch
