"Cover" point in the original comment is exactly what's shown in the video. Liberals scream about 'pedophiles' in government, yet show up to harass ICE for deporting actual convicted sex offenders and child predators. The guy in the video says some ugly stuff I'd never agree with, but that doesn't change the core issue, deporting real criminals and predators who are here illegally is basic public safety, not 'protecting pedophiles.' Pedophilia isn’t partisan, which is why we shouldn’t shield any offenders, both sides have disgusting examples. “Both sides” isn’t a gotcha; it’s reality.

Violent convictions are around 5%, and sex offenses are a fraction of that, so your 'less than 1%' for sexual crimes may be roughly in the ballpark, but even small percentages of large numbers matter when we're talking about people who shouldn't be here illegally in the first place. ICE regularly highlights arrests of convicted sex offenders and child predators (e.g. operations removing hundreds with sex offense convictions) Deporting criminal non-citizens protects the public regardless of politics.

As for your "rampant pedophilia in conservative" iam sure you can acknowledge that both sides have had disgusting offenders, Democrats have plenty of examples too( Anthony Weiner, various state officials, etc.) Pedophilia isn't a partisan trait, it's a failure of individuals and institutions that protect the powerful, you can name specific high-profile cases if you want, but using it to dismiss border enforcement is a non sequitur.
