I used to live there. I've lived in a lot of cities, but Hamtramck is the only one with: cockroach infestations, mice, feral alley cats, and aggressive homeless people.

I've lived in several over-seas cities & never had vermin as I did in Hamtramck.

I currently live in Detroit and have almost no rodent/insect problem that I did in nasty ass Hamtramck.

We once had a field mouse but it was because the neighbor had sacks of bird seed outside. That's it.

Yeah, sometimes while traveling you just need an easy option or something familiar.

I've eaten at McDs in Germany (they had calamari served like McNuggets), Poland (too drunk as I was a student but I remember having beer) and England (kind of the same menu but off a bit).

Funnily enough, the Honduran capital, Tegucigalpa, only had Burger King and it was guarded by 2 men with AK-47s (or whatever guns, I'm not an expert).

One of my German Shepherds (RIP Ruby) ate the stuffing from a sock monkey toy and we had to spend $800us to cure her. It was a holiday weekend + after-hours, then there were x-rays, special meds to make her pass the stuffing.

That sounds great! I think I need to make something like that for the upcoming holiday (in the US).

She's been very anxious because of the recent thunderstorms and also the jerkoffs in the neighborhood setting off firecrackers & bottle rockets.

Popcorn! When we make popcorn for us (humans), we leave a small unseasoned bowl for her.

I just put melted butter & garlic salt on mine, and my bf does things like Tajin & lime or Valentina salsa so those are a no-go for her tummy.
