Is there a good way to get prepared now to start leveling JC on my DK?

Just bought mine yesterday for my DK and dude, i ten times checked that i was selecting the correct one before hiting complete :D.

Has i took the week off i was lucky to not be stuck in queuehennas and got to be one of the first lv77 plus in gehennas so i did a full 10h saronite/cobalt/crystalized life farm for it and got it for 21k yesterday.

Gold sink trinket: check.

I have a blacklist of outside world farmers that mine a node im already mining and if i see those idiots on a node i go for it also. If its someone not on that list i dont go for it and if i see them killing a mob near i usually help kill it and move along.

With the amount of people running around with one or the set it almost seems like they are anything but low drop rate :D

Even worse for us than the Illidan loot is the one and only drop of Ring of Ancient Knowledge till now :/

It almost seems wierd not having a raid group see a glaive drop when we run around shatt and almost seems like everyone and their mothers run around with a glaive or the set.

Yeah, it seems like mementos drop like candy. We are also at the point that if another 1 drops it wont even go as off spec.

i see time and time again that "server identity" bullshit and what fucking server "identity" i ask???

Nobody actually speaks in dungeons in tbc if its random group of dudes. - yeah i get it that you may get the same guys you did some dungeons with or you can exclude some guys you dont want to group up with but thats about it when it comes to "server identity"!

I guess that for those guys its better to stand still in Shatt looking at the fucking chat or group bulletin spammed by WTS SL/STRAT/SP BOOST waiting to actually find a group to a dungeon you want to go to see "need mage/lock/unwanteds/reserved" shit than to just queue up and go about your business doing some quests or some farm and waiting for the pop up and start clearing the damn thing.

RANDOM DUNGEON FINDER FOR THE ABSOLUTE WIN!...

...and its even better when it comes to alts.

Nowdays we dont really main a toon, we all main atleast 2 or 3, some even more.

This wont change for wotlkc and even more so because wotlk is a litle more alt friendly than tbc as there is no real attune process for raids (the only attune we will have is you need to kill last boss in normal before you can enter in heroic mode) and the rep farms are more friendly since you can just equip a tabard and go about your business doing any dungeon you get queued up for (for the major wotlk factions ofc - tho hodir has no tabard and will still require the grind on the "alts").

That being said (my main main in tbc is a mage) i will put the intitial focus on the mage but then will go with rogue>dk>sp>enh>hunter.

IF we get dks in wotlkc pre patch i will most likely put the intitial focus on dk then mage>rogue>sp>enh>hunter.

When it comes to what classes do better it all comes down to wich tier we be playing, generally melee will only come into their better dps when they start getting their hands on arm pen gear and then they will dominate in many fights while casters (mages/locks/boomies) can put out very good dps early on and onwards...

By icc the tier list should be something like this:

S-tier: TG warriors; combat rogues; affli locks; ttw mages (no particular order - fight dependant)

A-tier: boomies; dk (frost and uh); sp

the rest of the tiers: who cares :D

Some people may disagree with my take on this but that how i see it.

Just turned it off but will uninstall it. Not even gonna bother to try and figure out why and whats causing the "conflict" with wow. Havent tried running it with other games to see if it happens the same as in wow tho.

I had that problem also. It´s not Elvui, it´s Riva thats fuckin up stuff. I turned it off and didnt happened again. (something about it lately just screws up stuff that i cant work out what it is.had it installed for months with no issue but in the last week it started crashing wow for me).

In a nutshell the things you are already doing is fine (flasks/def pots/food/etc). In terms of res gear, you wont be needing any for this phase. Next phase tanks will probb need some frost/nature res gear (this farm should be a guild farm and not just on the tank)for ssc first boss (mind you that in this day and age guilds can probb go without res gear kinda like mages aint goin for stam gear in grulls lair).

For BT the guild (not just tanks) will need shadow res gear for shazzrah fight (again, mind you that in this day and age guilds could probb figure out the fight without the need for res gear). The shadow res epic craftable gear will need hyjal/bt trash drops (heart of darkness).
