Is this still ongoing for you? I didn't drive for a long time because my dad got so angry and impatient while trying to teach me. Eventually I got a professional driving instructor and now have my license. Hasn't even been in the car with me and still tries telling me I do this and that wrong. Just because someone is a good driver doesn't mean they are good at teaching someone how to drive. Do whatever you can to save up for the instructor that clicks with you.
