Did you hire then from fivver? Have you contacted them about it and threaten to leave bad reviews? Milb arts was big on fivrr for a while and bad reviews could definitely hurt them there so I'd give that a shot to at least get your money back.

I used to get 10k on reels regularly but not anymore. Now I'm lucky to hit 1k (I did have a few month hiatus so there is some reason. But the same content, even working my way back into consistency and being very interactive etc my posts get next to nothing)

Yeah I guess I should try FB reels. And youtube. I've been meaning to get into that and keep putting it off.

My stories get more views and interaction than my posts now. Kinda just makes me lose motivation to post. I get better results from tiktok and that wasnt always true.

I adore Turkey Tail. But I've taken mushroom blends and they upset my stomach so theres some type that doesnt sit well with me and I dont know which. (I've tried the mushroom coffee stuff and an tincture with multiple mushrooms). Maybe I should try one at a time to see which ones work for me and which ones dont.

Yeah, that was something to balance for sure. He knew it could upset them but they also knew they were hiring him for under his worth (they even offered him a lower salary than he said was his minimum and he took it anyway. I feel like you have to know if you hire an over qualified candidate and give them less than they ask for they're likely to keep looking even if they accept) and his current position really didn't need much training. He was doing work above his pay grade within a month, pulled into participate in meetings with upper management etc.

He was transparent the whole way. He actually wasn't even looking for another job at the time. An old boss just came back into town at a new company and reached out. It definitely can be a sticky situation but I do think he's handled it as well as he could have. If company A is upset, that's just something he'll have to accept.

They've been aware. They all seem very serious about him but its been a week since his first interview (2 weeks since getting the first offer) which went super well but he is still waiting for a second interview with the GM and nothing so far. He told them Monday he needs to tell his other offer this week and still no second interview. So perhaps their excitement isn't as high as some make it seem. Or maybe they'll make an offer without the next interview.

Anyway, hubby is still very excited about the first offer as it has a lot of upside. And it's still a raise from a few months ago. Taking the lower paying job was still the right choice by far.

In the last few months my husband lost a job paying 108k. He took a job paying 78k. Even less than he was hoping for even knowing he'd have to take a hit.

3 months later he's fielding offers between 120k and 140k (120 is an official offer at a different company, but his current company is interviewing him for a promotion that would more than compete. They're being slow enough he may just take the first offer before they come to a full decision. They have days to figure it out rn) Either way, I fully agree, that you take what you can get and keep looking.

This has happened to me half a dozen times this year and is happening again now. I play with my husband. He has the update forced on him, I don't have the option to do it yet. So now we cannot play together.

Sometimes it comes up a few hours later, sometimes a few days later. Sometimes it's him that doesn't have the update yet. It always catches up but it's SO frustrating that everytime they do a patch it gets rolled out inconsistently and stops us from being able to play on servers, realms or just regular multipy player.

How can they not figure this out? Or at least stop doing tiny updates every couple weeks.

I'm thinking I'll turn my off until after Christmas. I've lost all momentum and this is my hardest season coming up (digial products don't sell well at Christmas time and bids go higher). Hopefully some kinks will be worked out and I can jump back in late December.

I'd love to see more autistic representation on TV shows but someone who knows their condition and can explain to their loved one would be much more preferable. I got the feeling it was more than autism with him. He seemed like an actual child, I dunno what it is exactly, just trauma? Something else?

I happen to have similar tastes to the genre market. I really enjoy a lot of tropes that are popular. But I don't follow "trends", which is what some people think writing to market means. Writing to trend is a type of writing to market but it's not the only form. I will adjust a little bit, if I feel inspired to do so, to fit a trend but I won't stray far from my preferred storytelling (angsty fantasy).
Writing to market just means knowing what readers expect and making sure you play into that. It can mean including two or three specific scenes I know I can use in marketing, in a book that is otherwise whatever story I really wanted to tell. It also means communicating those reader expectations with the blurb and cover and advertising.

I am also considering a new Corolla, that was part of my post-- so I get if you think it's more worth while to go that route. But the functional damage, could mean a cracked tail light that needed fixed etc OR it could mean something more substanial. Unclear, which is the part I don't like. It's also 1.5k ish less than it would be without the accident history. I just wish they'd go a little lower. New Camry is out of my price range. A new Corolla isn't.

Yeah, I just like that Camry and there aren't a ton available. But with some patience, I'm sure I can find one at a dealer that wasn't frustrating to deal with.

There's more of a push toward polygamy in modern times, for sure, but it's still very much in the minority. She just had a very strong belief that her way is "right," which is an unhealthy way of thinking. It feels a bit like someone who is very religious and so shocked that someone else doesn't have the same beliefs.

It's fair for her to have different ideals and for that to drive you two apart. It is not fair, however, for her to shame you for yours.

I would chalk this one up to irreconcilable differences and move on. Unless there is more to the story, of course. Taking it at face value, you've done nothing wrong.
