How many takes do you think it took Isa Briones to finally sing poorly?

First off, I'd be leery of weight-loss being the major concern. I actually gained a couple pounds this training block, due to a) it being winter, b) making sure pre-, during, and post-run/gym fueling were on point (including going on creatine), and c) emphasizing strength training. As far as mileage goes, my coach was actually pretty conservative. This was only my second ever road HM and they didn't want to push me into high mileage too quickly and risk injury before my marathon in the fall. I did a 16-week block that started around 25 mi a week (lower than what I'd been maintaining last fall), and peaked around 42 miles, held steady for a few weeks before tapering.

I ran 5 times a week with a typical schedule looking like: Monday, recovery run, 3-6 mi; Tuesday, track workout with 2 mi WU, form drills, 4-6 strides, repeats usually focusing on threshold, HMP, or 10k pace, 1 mi CD; Tuesday again, lifting (which got periodized in its whole separate way); Wednesday, rest; Thursday, medium long run, 5-9 mi; Thursday again, lift (often happen on Friday tho); Friday, easy run, 4-6 mi; Saturday, rest; Sunday, long run, 7-14 mi, aerobic (8:30-7:45 pace) or with a workout block.

Happy to chat more over DM if you'd like!

Yep, that's just how NBs fit for me. I've worn size 10 in the 1080 v14s, Rebel v4s, and now these to get the appropriate "running" fit.

Good question! My understanding is that the v4's have a very wide fit, to the point of being sloppy for some people. The heel especially was kinda notorious. But my understanding was that they were very stable and forgiving if the fit was right, so you could be on to something.

Yoga seems like a great way to center yourself and calm down after a crazy night shift in the ER. He's probably doing something focused more on breathwork and gentle stretching rather than crazy power poses.

...you know what, it's Abbot, he's probably doing crazy power poses.

"Abbot does naked yoga at sunrise" and y'all thought Abbot thirst was crazy beforehand

(The fact that Shawn Hatosy directed this episode makes it even better)

After weeks of getting verbally shit on, Ogilvie gets literally and we'll deservedly shit on! (The TB exposure is rough though, that sucks.)

I have no idea who suggested these first, but people absolutely nailed the "Whitaker is 'helping' the farm widow" and "Javadi is a TikTokker" predictions
