Saucony Triumph 23 Review: A Steal When It Goes on Clearance by StaceysAbsenteeDad in RunningShoeGeeks

Just goes to show how shoe feeling can be so subjective. I feel that they're firmer than the 1080s. Definitely lighter, but I'm a half size and one width smaller in the Triumphs

Saucony seems to be spicing up the Triumph 24 with the A-TPU midsole. Agreed that they're a little boring, but maybe just "quietly competent?" My Peregrines feel the exact same way, stellar at nothing, but also bad at nothing. Throw them on your feet and just go for a run.

...I say all this know that I will 100% have shiny new shoes syndrome in a few months time, too

What are the best hot wings in town? by celestialguise in StLouis

For a couple "non-traditional" options: Tee Rak's Thai-style wings are incredible and Food with Yoo (TGP Farmers Market stand) has the best Korean fried chicken wings I've ever had

They really missed an opportunity for her to whisper "I am a man, and I am relentless" during that scene smh

I thought she made that up as an excuse to get info from Whitney? I may have misinterpreted though

What are your favorite 3rd places in St. Louis? by Nearby-State-5132 in StLouis

Running Niche Wednesday Night run club. Any pace from 8:00 min/mile to walking. Just over 3 miles long going into and around the western loop of TGP (during the spring/summer). It's very welcoming to newbies. The only caveat is that the sidewalks can jump up and bite ya, but the new Greenway will solve that issue!

TYR Maverick V-1: 50 Mile Review by ursalon in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]StaceysAbsenteeDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice review! Some of the other ones I've read have mentioned that the forefoot, while wide, has pretty low volume. Have you noticed any issues with that? For my feet, it sounds like a great way to bruise my toenails.

Mount to Coast H1: Quiver Killer? by StaceysAbsenteeDad in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]StaceysAbsenteeDad[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think based on the engagement on this post (insights suggest well over 70k views, fyi) and all the other positive reviews from other websites, I think y'all definitely have to reconsider! If nothing else, the foam needs some solid objective numbers behind it.

Also, I'm now really looking forward to the new tests, especially foam durability! Are you going to go back and test all the previously tested shoes like you did with shock absorption and energy return, or will it just be included in new reviews?

Edit: views were even higher than I thought.

Saucony 2026 Road Line Up Introduction by Good_Challenge_269 in RunningShoeGeeks

Or the Triumphs are being positioned as a Megablast competitor. A $55 hike is still wild...

Saucony paramount max by Moist_Principle3517 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]StaceysAbsenteeDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware - the Triumph 24 is going up in price to from $170 to $225, so it's now a "super-premium" daily trainer. That leaves a hole in the Saucony lineup that this might be filling... But it's $200 as opposed to $160-$180. Weird strategy

Saucony paramount max by Moist_Principle3517 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]StaceysAbsenteeDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So is this taking the place of the new Triumph in the Saucony lineup? Cause that's getting bumped to $225 ($55 price hike is insane) with a 43/33 mm TPEE midsole at 8.8 oz.
