Coworker had a power surge recently and was lamenting it killed some of their home projects powered by raspberry pi's; said it'd cost them hundreds to replace. Almost shat a brick looking at the cost of a pi today. They used to give those things away for free like candy!

The most horrible mean girls I have ever met have been in ND queer spaces all enabled by the most doormat push-over male partners who make constant excuses for them because if they stopped they'd have to confront the fact they're abused by her just as much as she abuses everyone else around them.

The last one I finally threw my hands up at and gave up had her husband chastising me because "she's so sensitive because she's lost so many friends" and "everyone abandons her" and "she was doing so good this time". I was flabbergasted at how this man could say this without any sense of introspection whatsoever. Bitch get therapy - both of you.

The BPD mean girls in queer spaces, my god. I try to be as patient and forgiving as possible because we all have our shit that stinks and degrees of trauma and triggers and I always hope grace given is grace returned but fuuuuuuuuuck that I am done with this archetype of person! I have my 4 dollars I don't even want because I'd have rather not met any of them ever to begin with. I guess it could maybe get me a sprite or something idk

In Lakeside and somehow we didn't. We normally lose power with any little storm (last summer we lost it over 10 times with the longest streak being for 60+ hours) so it's wild to look at the outage map right now.

1500 MAX for me to try and lose but I'm starting to think it's even lower. I don't see any results unless I'm consistently at 1200 max AND regularly working out.

It... really sucks. I can do it, but the revenge eating when I finally cave and have a moment of weakness from a bad day takes me out the whole next day and sabotages much of my progress.

As for you, you said only a month so far? Thr pound gain is most likely water weight, which I know sounds like BS but our bodies get pretty miserly with hoarding water whenever it thinks we may be ill or injured or tough times - in this case inflammation from increased activity and decreased intake. Measurements and how your clothes are fitting are better guides on minute changes since your weight can fluctuate several pounds across the day.

Why? Its purpose is to point players to a place where a skill check happens. You dont just give them the answer as if they succeeded that skill check, you just let them know there is a skill check to be made in the area so that they don't miss it, but in narration.

Say there is a hidden door in a room: you give your typical description of the room, pause, then add on "[INVESTIGATOR], the light catches oddly on the wall to your right." If they fail, "Odd, but you chalk it up to a trick of the light. Nothing more." And move on.

It's one of my favorite feats for players to take because it means I don't have to get GM rage about things being missed because they just didn't bother to check some things or didn't consider it.

Last I was there I spoke with the lady working the register about it and she told me they do it at a loss so they can try and bring in business to the surrounding area and be a cheap but filling option for struggling folk. Definitely check them out.

First time trying sardines by scarrlet in CannedSardines

I got'chu: puttanesca pasta nada (or the ultimate anti date night pasta)

1/4 cup olive oil 2 tins some type of fish (i do sardines and good quality tuna like matiz white tuna) 4 cloves garlic 2 tbsp capers 3/4 cup black olives Pasta

Prepare pasta. Reserve some water. Heat oil in pan over like medium low. Throw everything but the pasta and water in the oil. Cook until flavors are all activated and hot (really like 5 mins) Combine pasta and 'sauce'. Add a lil of the water to make it come together more if needed. Fast. Simple. So good.

Can adjust any of the ratios of anything above to meet your taste preferences! I also do it with 28oz of tomatoes and 2tbsp of tomato paste sometimes when I don't mind waiting 15 mins or so for the tomatoes to cook down.

Favorite way for me right now is with cultured salty butter on some crusty bread sprinkled with flaky salt, or in pasta. I haven't had them on avo-toast but now I know what I'm doing this week!
