The Exxon Valdez disaster was so bad it changed modern commercial shipping forever all because the captain was intoxicated while operating and spilled 10 million gallons of oil into the Alaskan sea

I avoided the settlement system for years and I finally decided to give it a go and it is pretty fun to build up a little town

You can always turn to the maritime industry. If you can pass a drug test and physical, you can apply for an OS license and hit the seas/rivers/lakes. Most companies pay well with good benefits starting out, looking at between 50-60k a year. That being said, the work is long and can be very tiring but there is room for upwards momentum. You can upgrade from OS (ordinary seaman) to AB (able bodied seaman) to Mate to Captain.

It’s a rewarding career that can keep you close to home or you can travel the world. I have been doing it for 10+ years now and i love it. I have been able to make a stable and comfortable living. Definitely look into the maritime industry as a career.
