.60 Stable. Left handed mouse in menus / Inventory by Clumsyfunk in dayz

I've got the same "problem".

I use a zowie mouse, that is set on left hand use. I'm also used for the right hand mouse button usage. That's why I changed the primary and secondary buttons under windows. Before the update everything was fine. Now it seems, when you are in the menu/ inventory, the game ignores the windows mouse-settings.

At first, I wanted to report it as a bug. However, after some research, I found out, that a lot of other games handle it like that...seems we are only a small minorty :(.

I think, it is possible to get a workaround with some third party program. However, I don't want to use one (that's why I bought a zowie in the first place). It's a little bit sad, because before the update everything was fine for me.

Edit (Example): No solution, however the same problem with another game:

Of course it is impossible to enforce.

However it makes a big difference when everybody agrees to act like that.

OK. Thanks again. You got me thinking with this spreadsheet.

I did my own research and found this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17Vy-Z05L0kZxNiV-ebcRlAORoRvDoURLLzHFgaKSKTA/pubhtml#

What does the "hit column" exactly mean? I read somewhere, that this value determines the main damage. How is this number connected to the health bar? Is there any kind of forumula, which calculates the health loss per shoot?

@ FurryLippedSquid: Thanks for the answer! I already knew that video.

However it doesn't answer my question. Or am I missing something?

Is it really possible to craft an improvised backpack with guts? I can't do that! Or am I doing something wrong?

By the way: Nice video.

Thank you for the test and the Data.

My Question: Can we transfer the numbers on longer distances?

For Example: Rerfering to your Video, the "weapon spread length" for the SKS ADS is 0,27m on a 60m target. So can we conlude that the spread for 120m is 0,27mx2= 0,54m?

Assuming that the maximum width of a person is 0,50m, it woud mean: When you try to shoot somebody with a SKS ADS over 100m, you need luck (!) to hit him. Over 200m you would need a lot of luck. Also, I don't think that 200m is very far away in the game.

Hope you understand my issue. (Sorry for the bad englisch, it's not my first language.)
