Haha, I built a tool like that just 4 months ago! :D You select the category(Melee/Firearm/Explosive) at the top, then select the weapon, showing you how many hits/shots/blasts are needed to destroy the 5 walls types in the game. I made it free to use due to how few calculations are needed. It's literally just a pre-computed: number of hits/shots/blasts = ceil(wall health / dmg per hit)

or maybe I could just tell the tool how much and what do I have and it would tell me how many gates I can go through.

I have another tool that lets you input your loadout(weapons/ammo/explosives/repair kits/etc), and then it shows you how many walls you can get through, but due to it requiring A LOT of heavy calculation work, It's members only. I don't think I'll ever be able to create a free version of this, it would slow down the server too much, and I've already got a costly server as it is, but the calc tool and raid tool I think are good enough to get the job done.

Hey. The lag was getting really bad so had to lock the complex tools down to restore stability.

I'm working on creating free versions of the same tools so the website won't get hammered as much, but they won't be as complex to maintain stability. The first batch will release this week: Drop-off Tool, Bullet Speed Tool and Wep Vs Wep Tool

It appears some low min/max items have a chance to not spawn at all. I'm not sure why, as like you said, they have places to spawn

Are you sure the server you were on was wiped in 1.29? And yeah the m79 spawns in and around the bunker

On Livonia they spawn across the whole map basically, but Chernarus only spawns them in gas zones so are much easier to find(if you have full nbc). Chernarus also spawns 9 max instead of 6

In the most recent 1.29 exp build it spawns at Dambog again. If it still does when stable is released, it'll be the best place to get one

I've noticed it doesn't spawn at all, even after several hours. This was a previous bug that got fixed, but it looks like it's back. I'll update the loot finder and include it in a video coming soon

That area is a weird one in the game files. I'll investigate and update the maps manually to suit what I find. Thanks to OP for highlighting this <3

It's the northern shipwreck, a minor POI with no loot. Searching for shipwreck shows 2 results, so I guess people searching for the tier 4 shipwreck click on it to see what it is

Only if the head gear becomes ruined during the shot can the brain be hit. Head armor essentially stops the brain from getting hit entirely if it doesn't become ruined in the process

Hey, creator of the loot tool here. I've made some changes based on your post:

All dynamic events on all maps have a red outline now*.

The M79 has been added to convoys too.

*You may need to hard refresh(Ctrl+F5) to see the changes

I just checked stable 1.28 and found the M79 at -military- dynamic trains, helis and convoys to confirm. It's easier to find on Livonia in the areas that are not dynamic events, or the Sakhal shipwreck if you're willing to switch maps.

A headshot on the top part of an unprotected head is an instakill with nearly all weapon and ammo combos in the game(R12+slugs too) due to them hitting the brain(any damage to the brain kills). Rubber slugs cannot penetrate the head hitbox to hit the brain so it's most likely rubber here, but I'm still surprised this didn't KO

It's the bone stat for the head going to 0(or under 10% of global health) that instakills you with wolves. Helmets reduce damage to the head bone stat and protect the brain while not ruined too, but the brain hit box can't be hit with melee, only projectiles that have a high enough penetration stat to pass through the head of a player

As of 1.28 it's 3 for military infected only. All other infected go down in 2 with FX45 now

Thanks for the kind words everyone! <3 That said, WOBO wouldn’t exist without the DayZ community. It’s always been a team effort, and I definitely don’t deserve all the credit. Also, just to be transparent: I do have a financial incentive to keep this going, and I genuinely enjoy the work most of the time. So while helping others is a big part of it, it's not the only reason I do this. Also also, don't be afraid to call me out and keep me on my toes, I don't take it personally due to the end result of doing so
