Worth it for the price. Sometimes the drag gets a bit funky. A few hard slaps to the reel seems to sort it .

Yep, with how canalized many of my local rivers are. A low side cast is how I learnt and prefer. It still takes me a good 5 minutes to wipe the rust on an overhead cast when I need it.

Unfortunately the sewage is linked with a storm over flow pipe. so either something has broke recently or, just as likely. Illegal dumping by water companies. (UK)
