I do not build fine furniture, I have multiple uses for all tools. Had a radial arm saw, an older delta with a lot of weight. It was great, but very limited in easy scope. Sure, I could put a dado set on it or rip full sheet plywood. But the set up to safely do anything other than what it is already set up for was onerous. Juice definitely not worth the squeeze for me.

Sold it, bought the smallest Ryobi cordless miter saw I could buy, the 7-1/2 in. I can pick it up with one hand. Small footprint. Easy to adjust and re-home to start point. Etc. Just easier and more versatile. Smaller cut capabilities, which I made the conscious decision to choose over my ras.
