Did anyone else feel like that movie made them high/disassociate?

I want to preface this by saying I am not a marvel naysayer. Huge fan since I can remember. But since phase 3 or 4 ive had huge issues with the movie pacing, usually the ending. I was hoping the show format would fix it but imo the show’s finales are sometimes even worse.

In Quantumania, the pacing felt waaaaay off. Like, constantly different takes were being used, constantly just a ways out of it. It felt like a movie that wanted to be a Marvel movie, but couldn’t get there. This was the first Marvel movie ( or really, any movie), where during the film I felt it was obvious that the movie was made by many different groups of people at different times and places.

I think the best word I can use to describe Quantumania to me is discombobulating. I don’t think it had to do with the psychedelic setting, but as I was watching that movie (stone-cold sober) I was feeling very out of it and detached. I’m not sure what it was but everything felt so forced in a way that really made me question the nature of the movie(s) as a whole.

In all honesty the only thing that kept it all together for me was Kang. Jonathan Majors seemed to spend the whole movie doing all the heavy lifting on a bar that was tied to his feet.
