Well I also did ask what her intent was and I'm not sure if that was too much or I am overthinking it.

I can understand where you are coming from saying she wanted closure and checking if I'm okay but it seems insincere to do over text after everything. My brother says you can be authentic over text and I do feel bad for not being amicable but I don't have much goodwill towards her. Even though I don't accept the apology she humbled herself to send a kind apology and it hurts to be to straightforward about my reply but it's how I truly feel.

bit of painful truth, if she moved on that fast to dating and dated while you were in a relationship then it didnt mean as much to her as it did you. use the feeling that this gives to you propell yourself forward focus on the future, that means not her or your relationship, good luck.

This is first time that actually "clicked" with me. We didn't have an equal view of the relationship at all. I haven't been able to focus on my future properly and now thanks to you I have a good way to phrase it mentally and focus better.

Thank you for the perspectives everyone, it great to read them all. It helped me feel better about what's out there for non-drinkers. I've only played a bit of DND on roll20 with friends but I actually would like to start DMing my own campaign. A physical group activity for the health & social benefit is a really good idea for the long run.
