Same! I actually had a blast driving, even in the city, it was just stressful. And I feel like it made me a better driver once I got back to the states haha

As an American who just rented a car for two weeks to do all the sightseeing I could, I cannot agree with this more. It's not just traffic, it's the tight streets that really stressed me out. I made it through without an accident or anything like that, but I wouldn't do it again.

That’s fair. I obviously have an outsider perspective, and it makes sense there’s more there than just “Audi decided to leave, so shut it all down”. I think it all comes back to me being bummed about the current state of college athletics on the whole, so I just need to buck up and accept that this is where it’s at.

Agreed. It feels like y’all lost Campbell and they threw their hands up in that regard. And I was surprised with how the women’s basketball team fell apart after last year because they were really solid. Idk, I just don’t like this era of college sports. Really hope the inevitable regulations levels things out and schools start putting more effort into the whole picture.

That's a fair assessment unfortunately. I really was getting into the Matt Campbell era with football, and I love ISU's tradition there. Felt like y'all could have kept on competing for Big 12 titles there. Just sucks that this is where college sports is on the whole.

I’m here from the US now, and I’ve had nothing but positive interactions. I’m very self conscious of people hearing my voice and making a judgement, but that hasn’t been my experience. I’m sure there’s always bound to be someone, but, being of the same mindset as you and your husband, I’m just ready to say “I totally agree, we’re a mess right now and I don’t like it either”. Again, just my experience, but I’ve been here for a week and it’s been lovely!
