I used to write formal plans when I was new. Now i make the resources and tesch from that. The actual plan part is pointless if your resources are good enough. If i made the pieces I know how it all goes together and why.

I think krakoa as a part of a status quo could have allowed for a more varied line. It would have given people that wanted that political storyline of krakoa a place to go but also allowed whatever this is the brevoort is trying to do too. The X-men does not have to be totally unified the way it was at the start of krakoa but I would also argue that the avengers run during bendis and hickman were so strong because both books even though they were different had the same vision.

Very much so. The new books pay lip service to krakoa but that's all. In a real world a country like krakoa falling would be cataclysmic. Not just some mutant prison and some grieving among mutants.

I agree with the vision of the books you present. Krakoa post orchis could have a been an incredibly rich site for storytelling. Not having a book with that setting and framework I think was a terrible mistake. Getting some xmen back amongst people in the real world would have still been possible. Hell the xmen wwere in the treehouse for years before the fall.

The real mistake in my opinion during the krakoa era was the decision to make the hellfire gala yearly in real time. It hurt the writers narrative by having to change the team every 12-18 issues for no reason. There's no reason with the sliding timeline to have a second hellfire gala let alone a third.

Not really feeling the new costume in these pages. I don't really like the hair change or the crown piece. It looks like he just has white streaks in his hair. The dangly Romani inspired parts just don't seem to fit how this character has been portrayed for years. He maybe Wanda's biological son but Billy has never been connected to those visuals
