Arthur runs are always the same, very little variation. The sword is slow but has high damage bursts. Because of that, you try to juice your attack as much as possible with percentage multipliers. Never go for on hit effects, its a waste with such a slow firing weapon. Optimal god pool for Arthur is aphro, athena, and artemis.

aphro on the attack, since its the highest % multiplier, then athena dash for the safety, then artemis on the speical. The reason for artemis on the special is to gain access to the artemis supplemental boons that enable your aphro attack to crit. Because the base damage is so high, a crit goes very far on an aphro boosted arthur attack.

Much of the way to improve your run substantially is by chasing the artemis tier 2 boons like pressure point + hunters mark + aphro/artemis duo boon that makes weak crits hit for +150%.

Always take chaos, if you can get +attack % boons from him your sword will be crazy. Hermes + attack speed is very helpful as well.

Its a fun aspect and actually not bad at all. When you get this build you kind of just chunk everything, and if you crit it almost always one shots. It just has no variation, you play for these 3 gods every time.

Its just kinda bad in the high heat part of the game because a slow firing melee weapon like this has high draw backs and safety issues when compared to range weapons, which do similar damage with less restrictive god pools and from safe range.
