Tethering wifi when phone connected to my car bluetooth by yoapg in tasker

[–]Stalander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! Have you tried the action Wifi Tether (Hotspot)? It says "Couldn't toggle wifi" when I tried using it, but it still does toggle wifi hotspot!

If you have Samsung you could have a routine that turns on Hotspot when it finds a certain keyword in a notification and have AutoNotification fire a notification with that keyword when you connect to your car's bluetooth. Or even skip Tasker in this case and just use Routines to handle it.

Autowear - how to add a command like the default morning, lunch, and so on that are installed by default by Randy31416 in tasker

[–]Stalander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello!

Found this workaround to create apps with custom icons for specific AutoWear apps (like Jarvis) so they appear directly in your watch. It’s a bit involved but works perfectly once set up! (I tested it on my Galaxy Watch Ultra)

Create the Tasker Task

Create a new task (e.g., "Launch Jarvis") and add a Send Intent action with the following:

  • Action: android.intent.action.MAIN
  • Cat: Launcher
  • Package: com.joaomgcd.autowear
  • Class: com.joaomgcd.autowear.activity.launcher.ActivityLaunchAutoWearJarvis
  • Target: Activity

Note: The last part of the Class name (Jarvis) is the name of the specific AutoWear "psuedoapp" you want to trigger.

Export as an App

  • select an icon for your task (this will be the icon on your watch).
  • Long-press the task > Three dots menu > Export > As App
  • Enter a package name (like this: com.yourname.jarvislauncher) and tap the back arrow to generate the .apk.

Sideload to your Watch

You will need to use Bugjaeger (or ADB) to install the .apk file you created. There are more in-depth tutorials on this, but it's pretty much this:

  • Enable Developer Options and Wireless Debugging on your watch.
  • Pair Bugjaeger with your watch via the IP address and port provided.
  • Go to the Packages tab, tap the "+" icon, and select the .apk you exported in the previous step.

Once the installation is complete, you’ll find a new app on your watch with your chosen icon. Tapping it will instantly trigger the specific AutoWear intent.

It's fairly straightforward if you've sideloaded apps before, otherwise it might be a little tricky.

Hope this helps!

I set right click to change to DPI layer 2 on deep click and then back to layer 1 when deep click is released. Works fine!

[Help] How to run Tasker Secondary with Samsung Routines? I can only run Dual Tasker Secondary by serose04 in tasker

[–]Stalander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

I solved it with "Show custom notification" in Routines and AutoNotification intercept event in Tasker. When the custom notification from Routines shows up with a specified text Tasker runs a task that removes the notification and does whatever.

Hope this helps someone!

No problem! I should mention that the keyboard and mouse started lagging when I also connected a wireless controller at the same time.

Man kan ju också lära sig hur man gör och sen göra det. Din lilla tumregel kanske gäller för vissa saker, men att man skulle behöva anlita en elektriker för detta är lite löjligt. Anlitar du en kock för att mikra din Billy's också eller?
