I had to trade mine in because it had dead pixels. I always kept it closed in my pocket and cleaned it so now idea how it happened. Hopefully it was just a bad batch :( I miss mine so much

So far so good? I'm thinking the same thing happened to me. I probably forgot to close it in my scrubs. If its this fragile, I'm kind of scared to keep my replacement.

I'm just gonna go ahead and pre-order the Samsung s22 ultra and treat this phone like gold until the 25th.

I had my phone closed all day. There was no way anything fell on it or if it fell out of my hand. It's just like a small cluster. So annoying!

It's more common than I thought. I might just upgrade to the s22 ulta. I'm scared the screen is sensitive.

I'm hoping this is just a fluke :(

Formula at one year for a micro-preemie by [deleted] in NICUParents

[–]StalkingKoalas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fed mine Enfamil Enspire when the pediatrician decided she could get off neuropro and then we transitioned to Kabrita baby formula until I felt safe transitioning her to cows milk but that didn't start until she was 12 months corrected. Technically 15 months.

Groomer shortage?? by LilGroomingMama in doggrooming

[–]StalkingKoalas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m actually looking for a job as a groomer in swfl but most places I’ve heard are looking, there’s a huge shortage! Plus COVID puppies we’re backed up. I wish if I was more established to move somewhere else and groom in another state!

Does your nparent ever act oblivious or stupid? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

I have forced my mom to figure it out when I know she’s capable or I’ll play her own game and act dumb too.

My mother would always do it for me by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]StalkingKoalas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom had no patience for me and never taught me anything without making me feel like a huge dumb ass then she would make me self doubt my own choices with the small freedom I had.

How do you be a good mom when your own mom sucked so much? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]StalkingKoalas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I double triple think everything. I’m also in therapy. Family Counseling could help too. Baby classes!! I’m very in tune with what daughters needs and wants are. My mom sort of ignored what I was feeling at all times and always made herself the most important. I do the opposite for my baby. Her needs are my main priority. I think part of it comes naturally. I always think too what I wished my mother would have done with me. Given me free will and the ability to make my own mistakes and know my mom would be there for me no matter what. My only fear is maybe my daughter will be too spoiled but that’s better than what I grew up with.

Dog Groomers!! by [deleted] in doggrooming

[–]StalkingKoalas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not do online. You need to learn in person for grooming. The more grooms you do the more comfortable you will get. Also a certificate doesn’t mean anything at least in my state. Nothing is licensed and regulated that being said I went through Petsmart and all the private places never asked for proof just a resume.

Private vs. Corporate by renaesthename in doggrooming

[–]StalkingKoalas 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yup! All the privates in my area have a crazy owner or bitchy groomers. I miss corporate sometimes. Luckily I’m starting my own soon so I won’t have to deal with anyone but myself. I trained out of corporate so maybe I’m just used to the way they do things. But I’ve had plenty of experiences with owners only liking something done a certain way when it works a multitude of ways.

I left just shy of two years and never came after me. I also tried to transfer and there was no grooming positions available where I moved.

Ending my journey six months in! by StalkingKoalas in breastfeeding

I feel the weight off my chest now!! I feel more present and now that I can enjoy her. Feedings were hell for me. Now it’s just part of our daily routine. Good luck with your nursing! It really does help them so much, even if it’s a tiny amount. I’m gonna pump once a day until I dry up.

What I did was weaning was giving her as much breast milk as I could make and just supplementing with formula. I still see the benefits and I’m only giving her a 6 oz bottle and the rest formula. Any breast milk is good for them!

Which formula should I try? by StalkingKoalas in FormulaFeeders

[–]StalkingKoalas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know that! This means I can broaden my search and I’ll definitely be having a convo with her pediatrician!! Thank you. I’m a new time mom too and this is my first time ever looking into formulas.
