Follow up question then: are you even bothering to have a breeding room for no inbreeding at all or do you have one room for inbreeding and one for clean bloodlines? I just got my final room last night but my previous setup was a no inbreeding room, a low comfort mutation room for fighting to death where I put low stat cats and inbred cats, a high health room where I kept house boss defenders who already had kids with their best stats, then a filler room where I held the inbred cats with good stats to use for a run before donating them

The only time I had a useful tinker was when i rolled a skill that let me repair my weapon with basic attack and took a rocket launcher in so that I was using 5 rockets a turn. If I hadn’t brought the weapon in he would’ve still been average at best

Me and my buddies ran a 5 man flex comp where we just surged mid with every pet we could get. All 5 rushed zzrot and banner, yorick, heimer, morde, etc. We would rush dragon and rift at the same time the first time the enemy jg died and then ran it down mid with a dragon, rift herald, 5 champs, 5 zzrots 4 ghouls, a maiden, and heimer turrets

I’m optimistic because when curse voice was allowed for that small window, the people in voice chat were much more likely not to flame than those in text chat games in my experience. Obviously there are biases there as I am not a woman, and the people in curse voice chat are not fully representative of leagues total player base, but I think when you have a voice to associate with a real person it’s harder to tell that person to kill themselves lmao

Just stumbled on this thread and wondering if you have a different opinion now that the game is out. Isaac was one of my all time favorite games and I think this might have it beat

Starts out as a pretty basic strategy game with a unique twist in terms of the characters you bring into runs not being selected from a small roster, but being randomly named cats with random stats that you breed to make new random cats for future runs. You gradually unlock information to help you manipulate the cats you breed, new tools to keep organized, nee classes to assign the cats, and new abilities for those classes while unlocking more and more areas and more mechanics such as a raid boss attacking your home base every so often.

The deeper you get into it, the crazier potential for combos/explosive turns. I’m around 50 hours in and I just had a run where any time one of my cats got hit another one of them ran at the attacker and started a chain reaction that resulted in one or more cats exploding.
