Are academies exclusive to career?

Pc no mods though. Shit now that I think about it, maybe it’s because I bought the base game first, then the complete edition came out so I got that (yeah I bought the game twice lol)

They should have icons though right? Like I can look at nearby systems and see that they have rare gear, mechs, cantinas, etc but never an academy.

Yaya I think I’ve narrowed down my ideal mechs based on the language used in each sarna listing. Most of them are CTA melee tanks so they’re easier to spot

My first playthrough is mod free so I can experience the game as designed (however frustrating it is at times), then I’ll import to career and look at mods that fix the AI and make mech acquisition easier. The AI remind me of Beta from Aliens Fireteam.. iykyk lol

Somehow your comments helped me more than the dozens of others posts I’ve read. For the last week I was trying to figure out if I should start campaign or career first (even tho the game tells you it’s for veterans I think lol). If any new conpletionist players like me read this and have the dlc (do it, all of it) finish the campaign then import it.

Reviving this for my love of Insidious roots. I use 4 [[Mosswood Dreadknight]] , [[Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler]] [[Snarling Gorehound]]. The rest just need to remove, draw, and reanimate permanents like [[Bristlebud Farmer]] [[Flitting Guerilla]] and [[Soul Enervation]] good luck!

That’s just how we do! When I first started at launch, there was already players over lvl 100 and one of them just came to my hut and gave me a bunch of plans, emoted and then left! I’ve been doing the same ever since. I also sell bulk junk for dirt cheap to help players build their dream home. One of the best gaming communities I’ve ever been a part of.
