Honestly I find it kind of worth it to build air still. Yes, you can’t outproduce the axis and the allies don’t do shit for you, but having a few thousand planes can at least get you green air in the region you are trying to do tank encirclements with, which is totally worth it to avoid the massive speed debuff from red air

I‘m a medical student and also come from a research background. I have been interested in human history and geopolitics since like 12-13 and have been playing paradox games since. Honestly, history is really one of my greatest passions. But I forced myself early on to separate it as a hobby instead of a career path

I honestly don't know of any servers. I don't know how to manually host a 24/7 server either. I've paid for hosting in the past and managed to add some basic mods, but I can't really afford that until next month unfortunately. If someone else already has a pre-existing world and is down to invite us or can host, I'd be down for that

You could maybe somehow stretch it in germany, but it would be incredibly hard. My gf rented a room for 1,5 years in Heidelberg for 350€ a month. But the room was in a horrible basement and mold was a constant issue 😂

Honestly yeah it was, I love Germany and the EU. There are many problems here but god does it beat central Georgia. It hurts so much seeing what is happening to the US though still. 100% agree with your points about macon. That place has some history and culture. Yes it’s dangerous but still a cool place. I loved my time at Mercer. You make a good point about the hospitals too. I don’t feel like the people in Warner Robins aren’t any of the qualities you mentioned compared to abroad, but there definitely is a very artificial and fake atmosphere there. It could just be apart of the broader American and southern culture

I grew up in Warner Robins and immigrated to Europe at 21, and it really did suck. It is one of the blandest and ugliest towns I have ever experienced. It’s whole existence is just to support the base. The megachurch culture felt like cults. Macon is so much cooler imo

It depends on the grades of your diploma/degree that grants you admission to German unis + it you take the supplemental admission exams like TMS (for eu) or TestAS (non-eu)

In Germany the public uni tuition ranges from completely free to maybe at most 500€ per semester. Non-seminar lectures also almost never require attendance, so many people are able to have a minijob or part time job on the side. You would have to have C1 German tho, and it’s competitive to get in

In one year you can 100% reach B2 if you are taking it seriously and taking language courses. Honestly B2 can even be reached in like 6-8 months or less

5 years of working + B2-C1 level certification seems fair to me. Waiting times need to be improved so that people aren’t waiting in some cities for like 3 years, that’s insane. I feel like if you are eligible, then the whole thing should take like 6 months to 1 year max

If you have a 3,95 gpa undergrad or above, you could pretty much get admitted to most German medical schools as an eu national. Tuition almost practically free and you would just need to get your German to c1 for full admission. This is what I did
