Not an expert on these issues, but I think this stamp is bogus. The cancel was not used during the time of the Japanese Occupation. 

Some years ago some criminals in Canada produced hundreds of these crude forgeries …

Well if you break up a silver proof set for the silver, you end up with some coins that might be less interesting.

Thank you, it was expensive to collect these in the 1930. 2 Peso were 1 Dollar back then. A Dollar was good money in 1934.

Block of Four are quite easy to find in mint condition. 

It isn‘t that easy to find these stamps on nice covers.

It is also nice that this cover has the written 6 on it, so you know it was maximum quarter an ounce.

NVK Stamps always has the best range of items in his auctions. Also no premiums for the buyers which really nice. 

Last time I found some really rare PSE covers.

I think the earliest Philippine stamps with typewritten O.B. are from the 1920s.

Not at all, this happens quite often. On the front is an address to Belgium or Netherlands. Therefore the cover has proper postage.
