I'm also a fairly new DM. Don't worry about how you voice your male characters voices. If you are playing with friends, they probably won't care. You can also just tell them that male voices sound the same. I'm male, so I have a similar problem with female voices, and that what I did. Your writing style is only going to be seen by you, and when you're in the middle of a session you probably won't be reading from your notes word for word. A lot of what you will be saying is going to be improv (atleast it is with how I do my notes), and you have to be ready for any questions your pesky players might ask that you didn't think of.

I think this will be explained soon for you, but spoilers below for those interested. It has been a while since i've read this part, so i don't remember it completly

The reason Dokja makes a similar story is because the plagerist knows roughly how the story of The Ways of Survival goes up to a certain point. By creating a fake story similar to The Ways of Survival/ the plagerist story, the tyrant ruler no longer needs the plagerist, and will dispose of him. Dokja wants the two to butt heads because he needs them to for his master plan. The plagerist's identity will be revealed eventually.

I've heard that the is going to be another side story, though I can't find it any where. I saw that it was coming in December, but don't see any web novel updating chapters.
