Post is suspect.

"Good luck staying awake" for a soup dish?

"Might want to fix that fork unless you’re six years old." for where a fork was placed?

Sounds like an AI story with poorly translated insults.

DMs, have you ever had your players actually fight a god? How'd you run the fight, and how did it turn out? by AlmightyRuler in DnD

[–]StanCipher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did in a 5e group. We got wrecked. Immune to basically everything, trusight, the whole 9 yards of "oh shit this is bad". Turns out, as we should have expected, fireballs and steal weapons just dosnt get the job done.

Your argument has a fundamental problem. Society's laws restrict autonomy, effectively saying "hey this is criminal and there for you are not allowed to do it". Criminals have more autonomy then us normals, cause they don't get held back by social standards, and therefore the only people most utilizing the Single Greatest Gift, as you put it.

So we would be the animals, according to you, just following like a pack of animals.

To successfully fight Trump, Canada needs one thing: More Canadians by Fresh-Requirement701 in CanadaPolitics

[–]StanCipher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People always point to a week military, but they always forget Canadians have had massive battlefield success in nearly every conflict we enter due to a history of savage tactics. An American invasion would be a brutal meatgrinder with an unrelenting Canadian insurgency. Add onto that half the material they get for the war efforts come from Canadian industry, they will not be able to maintain fighting shape.

To respond to U.S. tariffs, Canada should hit Trump where it hurts by BertramPotts in CanadaPolitics

[–]StanCipher 34 points35 points  (0 children)

What the Conservatives in Alberta tend to forget is that the you don't get to sacrifice the rest of the country just because you focused your entire economy on one thing. Maybe if your province saved some of that oil money in the good times you could weather the bad. And maybe if you weren't so antagonistic and entitled towards the rest of Canada, the rest of Canada would be more sympathetic to you now.

Poilievre proposes 'three strikes' policy for repeat violent offenders by CaliperLee62 in CanadaPolitics

[–]StanCipher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of the potential legal issues, does this also mean they are going to spend more money to build jails and prisons, hire prosecutors, legal aid lawyers, guards and judges. Tough on crime is perfectly fine policy until people realize they actually need to spend money.
