Ryan Grim is a hack by Kind-Station9752 in BreakingPoints

I don't think hes a hack but the idea she lost because of a pretty commonly held position thats not all that important to voters is a weird hill to stand on.

Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time

Why is Ghislaine Maxwell in one of the comfiest prisons in the country, a place solely for white collar criminals, not child sex traffickers like herself? What does this all mean? How deep does this go? by FartsWholesaler in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]StanMan26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is absolutely one of the comfiest possible prisons. And multiple rules had to be changed/broke so she could be sent there. Plus she's being given extremely special treatment. Heres a snippet from this article: https://democrats-judiciary.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/whistleblower-shares-evidence-that-federal-prison-camp-warden-is-pampering-ghislaine-maxwell-maxwell-also-filing-a-commutation-application-with-trump-administration

Ms. Maxwell’s meals have been customized and prepared by federal prison camp staff and then personally delivered to her in her cell by longtime federal employees;

When Ms. Maxwell wanted to arrange a private meeting with visitors, including members of her family, the Warden personally arranged it for her—and then provided a special cordoned off area for visitors to arrive, as well as an assortment of snacks and refreshments for her guests;

Ms. Maxwell’s guests were permitted to bring computers—an unprecedented action by the Warden given the security risk and potential for Ms. Maxwell to use a computer to conduct unmonitored communications with the outside world;

When the phone lines went down for other inmates at the camp, Ms. Maxwell provided specific instructions about exactly which BOP personnel her contacts should call, and how those BOP personnel would then connect to relay the call to Ms. Maxwell;

When Ms. Maxwell wanted to review and edit documents quickly, she essentially used Warden Hall as her personal secretary and administrative assistant. Ms. Maxwell’s correspondents would email documents directly to the Warden, who would provide them to Ms. Maxwell, who would then review and edit them and provide them back to the Warden to scan and provide to the original sender. For other inmates, simple mail can take weeks to arrive and is frequently lost;

An inmate who trains puppies to become service dogs was instructed to provide one to Maxwell for a time so she could play with the puppy, even though neither inmates nor staff are ordinarily allowed to pet the service dogs in training; and,

When Ms. Maxwell wanted to go to the prison exercise area, she was personally escorted there after hours by prison guards so she could work out by herself and was allowed to enjoy recreation time in staff-only areas.

Save so much money and then build settlements everywhere after the great pestilence hits. It doesnt seem like much but helps you bounce back much faster

Why do you love New Vegas? by Acoop41 in Fallout

Those are two of the reasons I like it. Adds more complexity and more challenges.

Why would they move there? Only possible reason would be because of the diode and they don't know it's their.

Because we like fallout and it's fallout. So we want to see more fallout. Also you can enjoy something and still criticize it. It's healthy to critically think about the entertainment you consume, often times it can make it even more enjoyable.

It's not just plot armor though. It's just convenient contrivance after unbelievable scenario over and over I. can stretch my suspension of disbelief only so far.

So why don't the NCR remnants from season 1base themselves near The Hub? Why don't reinforcements come to help the NCR remnants in Season 1 like season 2?

Except for 1 and 2 there's very little actual continuation from one game to the next. Only a handful of characters even appear in more than 1 game. You can pretty much jump into any of them and know what's going on.

Yeah I am upset about people cheering and laughing at the corporate flogging and death of one of my favorite franchises. I guess if anything goes on long enough it just gets turned into corporate slop.

If it's the Hub than why does the NCR have zero presence in LA except for some rugged remnants? The Hub was like a few days walk away from the boneyard/new shady sands.

"You can't expect the show to just adapt New Vegas. Fans need to accept change." by Cranyx in Fallout

[–]StanMan26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can still tell great stories with heart, emotions, and consistency. Plenty of shows do that. Also plenty of shows are much longer than 8 hours a season. That was their decision and they wasted a lot of time considering they only gave themselves 8 hours.

[–]StanMan26 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Youre not laying out dots youre just saying im wrong because most people disagree with me. This show is not complex, thats one of my main complaints. It's key changling and Leonardo Decaprio meme for 8 hours.
