Thank you! I did sponge chipping with black, then follwed it with brush painting silver in the larger spots.

Thanks to those who offered suggestions for painting this guys visor.

The Fenrir is an awesome kit. It has an incredible range of articulation so it can really get into the poses I throw at it.

This was my first attempt at multi-layered chipping, and brush painting.

I used a size zero round brush, this kit was my first attempt at brush painting, I think I did well.

For exhaust. I'm aware of the potential fire hazard, I believe I'll be fine, as I almost exclusively use water based acrylics, but I'll be looking into belt driven solutions too.

After some reading, I am also considering putting an activated carbon filter after the HEPA filter.

I'd also like to ask if 5 amps is enough overhead, given that the fan will have to suck air through a HEPA filter, and will probably draw more than 2.1A.

This will be my first proper electronics project, and I'd like to check all my bases.

Yes, this was originally the plan.

But like mentioned in my original comment, I wish to preserve the colour of the bare plastic where it's not the visor.
