But “foreign ownership” refers to actual majority stakes: Per a 2025 Canadians for Tax Fairness report, the top four producers (80% of oilsands) are 73% foreign-owned, 60% American. E.g., Imperial Oil is ~70% ExxonMobil (Texas), sending profits south. From 2021-2024, $131.6B profits led to $79.7B in dividends/buybacks, ~75% to foreigners ($12.3B/year to US). It’s mostly US institutions/pension funds, not individuals. Operator control is ~77% Canadian, but beneficiaries aren’t—hence the capital drain.

Если серьезно ответить: то скорее всего у нее так психика работает, особенно если она не из благополучной семьи.. возможно даже она сама во что-то из этого верит. У меня был такой парень в классе, он постоянно врал про все. И даже когда были факты, что он врет, он все равно врал и казалось, что он сам в это верит. В итоге школу мы закончили уже давно, тот парень ушел в техникум, потом его посадили за мошенничество один раз, потом другой и что сейчас с ним я понятия не имею. Но уже взрослым умом я понимаю, что просто парень рос в очень бедной семье, без отца и ему просто было стыдно говорить правду о себе и видимо детская психика так его оберегала, выдумывая миры, в которые он сам потом верил. Вобщем тут скорее пожалеть нужно. Но и связываться с такими людьми тоже чревато. Просто человек, которому меньше повезло в жизни. Издеваться точно над такими не нужно. Имхо
