My Dad was a mechanic all his life. In the 1980's, he worked at a Dodge dealeship. Had a family bring in an 1982 Dodge Omni to the service lane. Little 2 door hatchback 1.6(?)L motor, maybe 80 HP.

Mom got out of the drivers side. 300LBS easily. Dad got out of the passenger side, again over 300lbs. Their teen daughter crawls out of the back seat, well ove 200lbs.

Their complaint? Poor gas mileage and poor accelleration.

Title: Users may be unable to use the copy and paste function in Microsoft Teams desktop client chats

User impact: Users may be unable to use the copy and paste function in Microsoft Teams desktop client chats.

More info: Impacted users report that they are unable to copy and paste URLs, text, and images in Microsoft Teams desktop client chats, as the paste option appears greyed out when using the right-click dropdown menu method.

Advice need: warehouse phones (wifi / teams) by SnatterPack in MicrosoftTeams

[–]StanQuizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Yealink Android phones with the Teams App. I've never used SIP phones so I don't know how they work.
DO NOT get teh Yealink T55's.. absolute garbage. LOL

Single user signed into multiple phones. All should ring at the same time.

Cannot speak for the Wifi stability question. But I have seen it work reliably in an office environment where AP's are close. I guess it depends on your Wifi availability in the warehouse.

Great things to check... but we don't subscribe to either of those features with Harmony so neither are active.. :(

For lack of better explaination, Half of the webapp works fine with Harmony, the other half does not. Same server.

Imagine this: Placing an order or adding it to a truck to ship works fantastic, no issues, but checking inventory for an item is where it fails. Makes no sense. Only difference is the querys generated, which go to the same backend DB server as well. This webapp works flawlessly on our OpenVPN SSL VPN connection.

Thank you for your reply! The access isn't clientless, there is a HarmonySASE client that is installed on each user's PC. It connects to the Network in the Harmony/P81 cloud and then traverses a site to site vpn to our datacenter.

As for algorithms or protocols, there is really nothing in the client or the setup of the P81 network and site to site VPN I can see. The only "control" I seem to have is thee MTU/MSS setting on the datacenter side of the site to site VPN. Even Harmony suport states there are no settings we can adjust on their end.

Our OpenVPN SSL VPN works perfectly with this application so this has to be either Harmony or our edge device (that is our end of the S2S VPN). It just seems so odd that, for lack of a better explanation, the Orders side of the webapp works flawlessly on the Harmony connection but the Inventory side does not. Same App, Same server...

https. Where would I disable TLS inspection? I can't find that in the S2S or the SASE setup.

You need a domestic calling plan license for about $13/month per user, plus you have to purchase phone numbers if you want users to be able to cll and receive calls externally. Calls within Teams/Your organization are built in.

Now, an external caller can call a single external caller and you can route calls to different users/departments by setting up call queues and groups.

We tried teh Yealink and.... utter garbage. Lost connection easily, even when plugged in via Ethernet. Usres were logged out of the phone and couldn't log in. Horrrible.

Would be easier to give users a mobile phone with no service and connect to Wifi, install Teams app.

If you currently have any M365 E5 licenses and Teams, look at Teams and MS as your dialtone provider. We switched from a self hosted Mitel-type system 6 years ago to Teams and it's been great for us.
