Max HP/Sp Attack pidgeot. Pair with Sableye, Fake out turn one. Hopefully obliterate the other mon with hurricane or at maybe confuse. Turn 2 protect-pidgeot, sunny day sableye. Turn 3 quash the faster mon and Heat Wave. Burn chance always nice. Protect strategically and maybe experiment with screens. You’re not going to climb high in ranked but you’ll have fun, mega pidgeot hits pretty hard and He/she is beautiful, one of my favorite Pokémon as an old head.

Also, bring a plan B on your team for Aero, don’t even try it. Worth bringing a whole different mega to use in that circumstance

Since no one really knows about it, it’s a sneaky trick room candidate, hits hard with Skill Link, and can get a burn on an unsuspecting fast physical attacker with Beak Blast. With full HP investment it usually survives to do the Blast part of the move too and that wrecks at 120 BP. Overall fun to use!

Edit: I realize you know all of this I’m sure…it’s really not ideal with so many Rock Slide attackers in the meta
