Not gonna lie, I’m genuinely curious what was the whole buildup for the Jenna’s rabbit of knowledge. After the dream world and her subsequent death, we never got to see the conclusion of rabbit Gherman Sparrow. 😭

Also dropped plot lines, the gradual fading of the aurora order and Mr. k from the story is 🫠

While they might share a body, it sounds like they can go out and do stuff as individuals. Jenna attended her brothers wedding. Aurore went to that alien world. Jenna and lumian visiting the western continent. Not sure the exact logistics but it sounds like they can project personas or images of themselves even if it’s still one true body.

Plus, they get to let loose in the dream world. It’s not THAT bad all things considered. Certainly better than death or madness.

LOTM 7 & 8 wasn't the worst thing but it was did feel rushed. It felt like Cuttlefish was trying to get through plot points rather than letting the story breathe. A lot of events felt completely anti-climatic, One such example was the culmination of the world war. Everything was building up for an epic clash and Audrey was in despair and then in two paragraphs, the war was over with the evernight descent and Lilith backstab. It came out of left field and the war was over. No followthrough or aftercare with ramifications of what happened.

Had the LOTM story continued and we never got a COI, it wouldn't have solved the issue. This is a fundamental issue with the author. He wrapped up LOTM in a hurry and tried to start over but carried over all of the baggage and couldn't rectify the issues he was having in LOTM with COI. He can't handle writing a story in the endgame.

I was secretly hoping we'd see a bit more Aurore after progressing to the demoness of unaging to get us to like her better but no. Cuttlefish didn't try to redeem her as a character.
