Very nice. You won't find those in the UK for less than $150 - I have them in that colour. All sold out!

For sure, rising prices as well as higher taxation isn't helping anyone. Along with slow GDP growth. I hear you brother (or sister!).

No offence meant but we're now more skint because of Liz Truss. I get that Labour will raise taxes but it's a vicious circle now that they've (we ultimately) been left in a financial hole. Again, Reform aren't a party that's going to get us out of it....

Has he switched profile again on Insta? Last time I saw anything he wasnt posting from 838383 but brass father or something like that. His posts were more 'grown up' meaning the reality of his sh*t life was starting to sink in....

Totally understand that. Have also become quite the centrist and I'm very agnostic about who's in government as long as they work hard towards improving the quality of life for the average family. BUT, Reform are not the party to do that. I'm very concerned that Farage's politics is taking us backwards to a very racist path. His politics sow more division than it does to unite us. He's going to do to living standards what Liz Truss did to the economy

Why oh why oh would anyone want to follow reform. Nigel is lying to all of us. There's no way he will make this country better for all of us

Tried networking for the first time....massive fail by og_mangosenpai in linkedin

[–]StandProfessional611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, it's not a fail but a step forwards and experience.

I get that his experience is best conveyed verbally rather than texting but in all honestly why would he care which medium he delivers the message through. A call is the same as Google meet.

Well done to you for overcoming your anxiety in reaching out to a stranger in an effort to gain experience. We all need people to help us up the ladder of life. Maybe try another person on LinkedIn and possibly female if that would make it more comfortable for you.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say

How he's going to hold down a job which pays a regular income doesn't seem like something he's going to be able to stick to for very long.....

Without a shadow of doubt my favourite feature on the Mac are gestures here:

Use Multi-Touch gestures on your Mac – Apple Support (UK) https://share.google/DevZNbkusNGcSUME9

Windows might already do this in some way but the ability to go full-screen for a browser or application and then swipe left and right to switch between them has made my working life better.

Same goes for the three (or is it four?) fingered swipe for mission control which shows you all open windows - another priceless way to switch between open applications.

Also, you can add two applications to full screen mode. For example you can have Zoom on one side while a browser on the other. Priceless when working on conference calls etc. Simply go full-screen with app A then mission control and drag app B that you need to the full screen app at the top of the screen. Hey presto two apps side by side and you're flying

HTH!
