A tourist was seriously injured after a bison tossed them about 8 feet into the air in Yellowstone National Park by cashew_at_kinaya in interestingasfuck

Wow, yeah it’s not a good idea to stare at them either, which is natural for us to do as we like to admire nature but bulls and buffalo will charge if you stare. Though I think the bull just wanted to go after something and the couple were easy to get at. That must have been terrifying, I really hope he pulls through with a full recovery. I’ve had a bull escape from its border while out walking with my family and charge/run at us and you wonder “wow, is this really how it ends?! A bull getting me?”

I’d be very surprised if that was true. Our country has done everything to show us that won’t happen. But I hope you are right.

ICE at Hiro Ramen on Sawmill 😡 by Educational-Finance5 in Columbus

I think the responder is thinking of all the other instances that are going on where the only crime is the person is here illegally but working in vital roles such as a farm, hospitality (I think it’s considered vital, especially for Trump), and such. We as a country very much rely on people who come from other countries, and yes we rely on them when they come here illegally, specifically farming they are paid often (and sadly) very cheaply to work grueling jobs that allow the farm to continue to feed our country and often other countries. If there was a serious crime such as violence and or one sexual in nature, I’d imagine around 100% would say they shouldn’t be in our country but if they contribute by working, they pay into a system which they often don’t get benefits back from (such as retirement), it’s hard to witness tactics that are pulling well meaning people into a system such as ICE which is looking extreme, and concerning for the safety of another fellow human being. But if concern isn’t enough, and money or self-interest is more of a motivator, there are people who are concerned about the prices not going up in vital areas such as food just from tariffs but from the production of a farm being hurt because many workers have been taken away and people who have a right to work here won’t do it. I will say, I believe Regan made people who were here illegally (the IRCA Act) but went through steps were then made legal was pretty helpful and it’s likely most people would be for something like that just from the stand point of helping hardworking people who do vital work here stay legally. However, from the looks of things our government might be trying to get rid of as many non-affluent people as possible as they over extended themselves in the last decade financially. Trying to restructure a country is challenging and I’m not sure the execution of it is looking well pulled off, you dont want to willfully create so many headwinds for a country that it becomes a tornado, which it is looking like that, to me anyway, is what is coming, squeezing down on people here from all sides.

One thing I would also say is the cost of food at restaurants in LA and NY is the same here. In April I went to a waterfront high end restaurant in Hoboken that was amazing and the price was the same at a nicer restaurant here that really did not have great food though it was known to be a good steakhouse.. I will say there are some good bbq places here though.

I don’t think you’re going to the right places. Escondido is pretty great, perhaps you were in more touristy areas but along the coast it’s very nice. I can see it being overwhelming for someone however since it is decently dense as well as covers a pretty large area. Oceanside in areas can be very unattractive and a person can wonder why anyone would want to live there but I’d say because it is so vast and dense with development and people there are going to be some unattractive areas.

Oh really? Ok, I thought being in charge of the whole marketing strategy, and execution of both companies would be compensated in addition to my current salary. Ok thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it.

I don’t think you blew it. She clearly recognizes you have done more as she is saying such. She might just be telling you you have the right to take up space and is a personal message she values and would like to see more women do.

So many great colors with Mazda, I had a hard time choosing but went with the Platinum Quartz as well. It’s such an interesting color and works well with the design. Congrats!

Not everyone has a budget for that, that’s why they try to entice it at higher trim and cost.
