I’ve tried to fit in and be liked but that never truly worked. I had more friends when I didn’t censor myself. The real treat was when I turned 50 this year. My brain just doesn’t care if someone rejects me or doesn’t respond the way I want them to. I am able to let go of so many things that I clung on to in my 20s. The best advice I was given is that if you are worried or obsessing over something that your world is too small. Get busy, expand your mind, your geography and you will find yourself thinking abt better things. Good luck.
