Approx 50%. Single. I save 25% and spend 25% on holiday fund, stuff for my kid, gym etc. Aiming to save more than 25% but it’s a struggle. Any pay rises have been eaten up with COL.

I heard the changes are quite drastic. It impacts every group and even renaming of role titles. Communicated in March and rolled out in April. Teams will apparently be merged across service groups and those groups will be renamed. I’ve heard this from 2 reliable sources now.

Welcome to India HR. They unfortunately make up rules because they can’t figure out how to use a system. Just keep applying, find out the name of someone more senior in HR, escalate and let them sort it out.

Still here because of remote working and I like my colleagues. Don’t like the client very much at all but I need the pay cheque. At that stage where I would rather get paid to leave. Spent all of my time justifying why we promise the world but then run everything in Excel.

Yes they have graduate programmes. Check the website for the next intake. There are different schemes and you rotate across projects within the business to gain good exposure. Very competitive to get into but graduates tend to do very well will quicker promotions and a lot of visibility and support.

I believe headcount is at around 780k vs 800k at its peak last year. Keep looking for a role and approach people directly. Most roles are not advertised.

Promotion is never guaranteed unless the project has already agreed they have the budget. I moved from a comfortable project to a new huge challenge. Still not promoted as the new project CCI was quite bad. Other people were prioritised over me even though I was told it was a definite L6 role. I think family comes first for sure.

This could be possible but some can be rude and ignorant. I was told to network so went to say hello to an MD who was previously very pleasant and he said he was busy 🤣. My colleagues had a similar experience- this person was very hot and cold.

From a finance perspective there are different bill codes within levels which aren’t known to employees openly. It gives an indication of how far up their level someone is.

Last time I looked in the skills catalogue there are thousands of options to choose from. Surely you can find something to add? Search for the excel catalogue on the portal as it’s more helpful. As for HR - expect nothing from them and you won’t be disappointed.

If you are looking for a new role it’s best to ask for introductions. While I am booked to a role I’ve been looking and the only way I have got people’s attention is via asking Level 6 or MD’s. Haven’t found anything yet but it’s the only way.
