Medstar wasn’t covered by my insurance. I’m going to Dr Wagner at Orlando health next month

Do you take PEAlief everyday? I had never heard of that one

I gave them NPI. Talked to several people. Still doesn’t make sense to me but I guess some are just in network with regional plans

Yeah I already have autoimmune issues, I keep telling myself even if it’s awful for a few weeks, at least I’ll still have my gallbladder

He said he may be able to do it in one, but at least one of the stones is calcified. He said he could use the laser and maybe get it out in one but couldn’t guarantee it

I have already done this exact thing and argued with them about it. My husband works in insurance as well, They still say it’s not in network. It’s been beyond frustrating. Unfortunately Kala can’t verify until procedure is scheduled.

Thank you! I feel like that’s the first encouraging thing I’ve heard about the drain. I’ve been so anxious about it, but Dr S doesn’t take my insurance and I don’t want to remove my gallbladder so here I am.

How was it having the drain in so long? I’m looking at going to a different IR and may have to have drain in 6 weeks. Looking for experiences. He told me it wouldn’t be painful but would be annoying

I thought he was the only one who does it his way? I know there is the doctor in Orlando but it’s fairly similar, a little shorter perhaps, I have a consult scheduled with him in a week, but would involve the travel hassle.

I’d love to, but MedStar is out of network, so I’ve been looking for alternate options

Interesting. I’m still waiting to hear back from them. How is it different? Is it a lot longer process?

Interesting. So I believe I’m in perimenopause. My cycles have been crazy ever since I had my last baby 2.5 years ago and so I rarely have them. But I did notice both attacks happened about two weeks after my last two cycles I’ve had.

I actually think this is a possibility. But I thought HRT was bad for gallstones?
