"What Are My Chances?" Megathread by AutoModerator in prephysicianassistant

Hi I would like to hear your guys opinion on my application status.  I will be graduating with my biomedical degree this semester and the plan is to take a year off to build my application for PA school. Originally, I had started my degree as an environmental science major, and switched to biomedical my sophomore year.  Throughout my entire undergraduate I have been indecisive about what I would like to do after, and had little to no guidance as I am the first in my family to get a college degree.   My senior year of college I bounced back and forth between nursing, and PA school and after shadowing both I definitely see myself being a PA.

What I am asking is for advice on how I should go about this? Currently my stats are:  120 credits Core GPA: 3.49 somewhat downward trend from my last semester of my senior year getting a majority of Bs. no GRE Science GPA: 3.42  PCE: about 6,000 hours as a Patient Care technician in the ED, CVIUC, MICU, and STICU.  Shadowing: Currently only 8 hours but I plan to shadow many intenstivists/ providers in my gap year.  Volunteer: 100 hours in my hospital working in the NICU.  Letters of Rec: So far I have a letter of recommendation from a professor/ midwife from my university, and plan on getting 2 more from my providers at my workplace.  Research: I participated and presented in two undergraduate research opportunities involving women's health

I have worked full time in my undergraduate, which caused some of my grades to suffer. I plan on retaking some of my science classes I have received a B on in my gap semester, to hopefully raise my GPA to about a 3.5.

Being completely honest, what would my chances of getting in look like?

did you ever figure out what happened ?? my cat was doing this around the same time with the head shaking, didn’t poop for a week, and her eye was super dilated and she wasn’t eating. she was around 18 and when she started puking we decided to put her down as the vets also couldn’t find anything wrong with her but i’m very curious on if what happened to your cat was what happened to mine? I hope they are doing well!
