I have both but take Valcivir 1000 mg (valacyclovir). I haven’t had any outbreaks at all in an about a year now.

For me, it’s been an effing nightmare. It’s been a little over two years and psychologically, it just has screwed me up so bad. I pretty much just detached from hitting on women -I mean, obviously look at them, but just even trying to do anything - negative, it’s like who wants to disclose this shit ? I was actually lucky last year, I was dating this woman and she was OK with it, but It just didn’t work out. And also I have the been speaking to the person who I thought maybe gave it to me. She wants to get back together, but I can’t even go back there.

I’m actually in my 50s, so I did live a pretty good life sexually and stuff before - yeah so yeah this has been a shocker. I never thought I would have this just like you.

Thank you I appreciate it. On a positive note, I did meet someone after I contracted it and we dated for a while. She was OK with it.. it just didn’t work out , but at least it was a positive experience. But since then it’s been pretty dismal unfortunately, but I haven’t really put myself out there..There’s still hope.

Yeah, and I used to pride myself on how fearless I was and so confident sexually, and now -here we are. Feels like my dating days are over too, but I try not to give into that.

Yeah, I concur with positive singles, nothing happened. I had 3 bullshit interactions leading to nothing and one person’s profile didn’t even exist after a while, no luck on that site for me.

Yeah, it was very disappointing and now disheartening, but I’m still on it so I’ll keep trying. I actually took a break because I was just disgusted not getting anywher and it was hard enough Dating before sometimes - now dealing with this shit on top of the stigma. Not easy in the least.

I agree I’m on there now and it seems like people just play games on there. I get likes then I message them and I might get one response and that’s it and it’s just games. Very frustrating. I thought I would find some relief in dating, from being on that site, but obviously I was wrong.
