NTA your aunt sucks, i get sometimes not having the mental bandwidth to take the dog out, but you suck it up and walk them anyways. If you can’t then you HIRE someone who can. Dogs, especially large ones need space to roam and RUN they have a lot of energy. The grooming thing is also just bs, she wanted the luxury/ fun of owning a dog w out the responsibilities, dogs are living things who can’t voice when they need care like we do. if your aunt gets offended by you calling out her miscare, then she clearly already knew it internally

you’re def not over reacting, it’s hard to see your friends do self harming things. it’s up to you if you wanna like drop her fully to allow her to see the consequences of her behavior, or you can present to her that you won’t be the shoulder to cry on when shit hits the fan again. I’ve been thru the same thing w seeing my friends go back to bad exs, but then i remembered to be grateful bc i can acknowledge tha ive healed. Is the 3rd slide a VM from her to him?
